The most universal and significant tools for the transfer of knowledge is writing of many kinds and Journal articles provide current information on specific topics. This is the forum where researchers and commentators first report their findings and ideas. Articles also contain in depth and subject specific research that might not ever be published in a book. In some subjects you will need journal articles to successfully complete your course. Publish or perish is the recent trend and publications have become a prerequisite for promotions.
SRM Dental College is one of the pioneer dental colleges in India. The college has been rated as one of the best dental colleges in India considering its academic excellence and state of the art facilities. Though our institution has plenty of scientific articles due to the research work carried out in the institution, it is becoming difficult to publish these articles as the number of dental journals in India are less and these journals have plenty of backlog of articles to be published. So we at SRM Dental College have made one such attempt by bringing out a journal under the banner of SRM University. With so many feathers in its cap we are proud to bring out this journal as yet another achievement by the institution.
Our journal STREAMDENT - SRM University Journal of Dental Sciences is published quarterly and it aims to create a platform for researchers to publish their findings and we ought to serve the research community by being a base where knowledge can be shared and we sincerely hope our journal will be one of the reputed choice for publication among researchers.
